TPC’s New Presidential Candidates Tax Plan Scorecard

featureHeaderBlog

As they say at the ballpark, you can’t tell the players without a program. To help keep track of the many tax plans of this election season’s presidential candidates, check out the Tax Policy Center’s new scorecard.

It’s a quick way to tell, for example, who would cut income tax rates and by how much, who wants to change payroll tax rates and how, and who favors a flat tax. You can easily select those candidates you’d like to compare, and screen out those you are not interested in.

We’ll update our scorecard as candidates disclose more details about their plans and once we complete our own analysis of their tax platforms.  You can use our campaign tool on your laptop, tablet, or phone (but not while you are driving please).
