TPC Presents Distinguished Speaker Ron Wyden

The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center (TPC) is pleased to present US senator Ron Wyden of Oregon, ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee, as part of its Distinguished Speaker Series. Senator Wyden will join TPC director Mark Mazur for a discussion on the challenges facing, and the prospects of, Congress passing a tax bill in the coming weeks and months.

Senator Wyden is the senior senator from Oregon and has represented his state since 1996. In addition to serving as the ranking member of the Senate Finance committee, he sits on the Committees on Budget, Intelligence, and Energy and Natural Resources. He has emphasized the introduction of bipartisan tax reform bills.
