Distinguished Speaker Series

TPC Presents Distinguished Speaker Kevin Hassett

The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center is delighted to kick off its Distinguished Speaker Series with Kevin Hassett, Chairman of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers (CEA). In collaboration with the Tax Foundation, TPC will host Hassett for a wide-ranging discussion on the fiscal outlook of the United States and the prospects for tax reform.  

The Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers reports to the President on a wide range of economic issues. In this role, the Chair leads a staff of distinguished economists from academic, policy, and government backgrounds. Prior to serving as the Chairman of the CEA, Hassett was the State Farm James Q. Wilson Chair in American Politics and Culture and Director of Research for Domestic Policy at the American Enterprise Institute.
