The Prescription: Fiscal Policy for Today’s Economy with Barbara Angus
Our guest this week is Barbara Angus, former chief tax counsel for the House Ways and Means Committee. Now a global tax policy leader at EY, she will talk about the ongoing debate in Congress and the European Union over new international corporate tax rules developed by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and how those rules could affect multinational firms based in the United States.
This interview is part of the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center series of online conversations on tax and fiscal policy in today’s economy. The discussions take place every other Thursday afternoon and feature varying perspectives on the historic economic challenges facing the United States and the world and the best ways to address them.
