The Prescription: Fiscal Policy for the COVID-19 Economy with David Bradbury
This week’s guest: David Bradbury, Head of the Tax Policy and Statistics Division of the OECD’s Centre for Tax Policy and Administration
The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center (TPC) is holding a series of online conversations on policy responses to the COVID-19 economy. The discussions take place every other Thursday afternoon and feature varying perspectives on the historic economic challenges faced by the United States and the world and the best ways to address them.
This week’s guest is David Bradbury, head of the Tax Policy and Statistics Division of the Centre for Tax Policy and Administration at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Before joining the OECD, Bradbury was a member of the House of Representatives in the Australian Parliament and a minister in the Australian government. He’ll talk with TPC senior fellow Howard Gleckman about fiscal policy responses to the pandemic from around the world.
