Other tables show effective average tax rates (tax as a percentage of pretax income), shares of federal taxes, and effective marginal tax rates (tax rate on an additional dollar of income).
Baseline tables include the number of tax units, average income, federal tax burden, after-tax income, federal tax rates, and shares of pre-tax income, post-tax income, and federal taxes. Statistics come from the Tax Policy Center's microsimulation model.
