Job Opening: TPC Webmaster
The Tax Policy Center is seeking to hire a technically savvy person who writes well and has a strong interest in tax policy to run our website. The TPC website is the main vehicle that we use to communicate to the public and we are planning a major upgrade to make it an even more effective dissemination tool. The new webmaster will be responsible for overseeing the website redesign, posting content onto the website, and synthesizing TPC research and analysis on current tax policy issues to make it accessible to reporters, policymakers, and the public. In short, this person will play a key role in advancing TPC's mission of educating the public about tax policy.
The ideal candidate would have experience in website development and management, but we welcome applications from candidates who are prepared to develop these skills on the job. The most important qualifications are strong interest in and knowledge of tax policy, exceptional writing skills, ability to work independently and take initiative, and the ability to handle occasional deadline pressure.
The position announcement is posted on the Urban Institute's website at http://jobs-urban.icims.com/urban_jobs/jobs/candidate/job.jsp?jobid=1253&mode=view, where you can apply for the position.
